Hi Christian-

Thanks for letting us know! I haven’t heard about this issue before, but it does seem like it has happened to others using a few different methods and plugins to migrate their website. It seems like most of the answers out there boil down to the fact that Divi may somehow still be using URL’s from the old website. Here are the top few answers I found for you to try:

  • Clear all your caches, including plugins, server-level caching, and browser cache. For most DreamHost accounts, you can accomplish this simply with the Delete Cache button in the top Admin Bar.
  • Try refreshing your perrmalinks.
  • Clear the Static CSS File Generation in the Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Static CSS File Generation menu.
  • Finally, try using a plugin like Better Search Replace to search for instances of your old URL and replace them with your new URL. This is potentially dangerous if you make any typo, so be sure to make a database backup first, just in case.
  • And finally, if all these have failed, contact Divi Support to see if there are other possible causes of the problem after a migration.
